Martin enjoyed a meteoric rise to prominence, winning the BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2014 at the age of 18. This led the next year to his BBC Proms debut performing Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2016 he performed at Her Majesty The Queen's 90th Birthday thanksgiving service, which was broadcast live on BBC One from St. Paul's Cathedral.
Since then Martin has become recognised as an outstanding pianist of his generation.
